It is imperative that the relevant authorities take immediate steps to address the vulnerabilities in the city’s infrastructure. Regular maintenance and timely upgrades of essential utilities, like water pipelines, are crucial to preventing such incidents. Moreover, there should be a transparent investigation into the causes of the pipeline burst to ensure accountability and prevent future occurrences.
