Illegal police station
It is rather surprising that a police station is being established in a housing scheme in Islamabad, a small society by measurement and population. The housing society is located along the expressway near Kak Pul.
There was a plot of land earmarked for the community centre alongside other amenity land reserved for graveyard, mosques, schools, playgrounds, hospitals, etc., that were duly approved by the Capital Development Authority (CDA). The police entered the society, ignoring the pleas of the local residents, and started the construction of the police station. The society project manager was on record saying that it was all done by police forcibly. Should police behave like this? They even did not have any documents issued by the CDA for building the police station. Police should be given a piece of land outside the housing society if they wish to have a police station.
