Pedestrian bridges are made to facilitate commuters to cross the roads with ease. However, the bridge on Mauripur Road, Lyari, does just the opposite; it forces the pedestrians to avoid harm by choosing not to use the bridge. The pathetic condition of the bridge means people have to risk their lives by crossing the roads in the presence of heavy traffic. The bridge needs urgent repairs.
