Teachers or slaves?

Teachers in private schools are paid less than labourers, and are treated worse than slaves. Many private schools impose stringent policies, denying even a single leave to their teachers. Moreover, no benefits or allowances are given to them either. The starting salary in many schools ranges between Rs10,000 and Rs15,000. It is impossible for them to survive on this salary. The government needs to fix a minimum starting salary of Rs35,000 for fresh teachers. Teachers must have a healthy environment in which they may thrive themselves, and nurture a better future for the nation.
