Acid attacks

Acid was thrown at a woman recently by her in-laws for failing to convince her brother to marry her sister-in-law. Thankfully, the woman was able to receive timely treatment. The acid attack, in fact, was meant to shatter her identity, not burn her face. Some countries have banned the sale of acid to prevent such attacks, but this is not a permanent solution. We need to hang the criminals or give them the same pain so that they may understand what they have done.
