Pirbala Warsak Road bridge, a pivot linking hundreds of villages with Peshawar city, is left abandoned halfway through construction for the last several years. No reason has been provided by the authorities for the delay. This under-construction bridge leads to traffic jams and fatal accidents. Multiple protests have been held in this regard, but the work has not been resumed. The authorities concerned should expedite the construction work.
