Human trafficking

Human trafficking is a multi-billion-dollar ‘industry’ across the globe. Thousands of impoverished girls from the former Soviet Union are said to be forced into the global flesh trade. The situation is alarming in Pakistan. The United Nations has identified Pakistan among the top three countries to be involved in such inhuman and illegal trade. Unemployment, political instability and poverty push humans into this quagmire. The government must chalk out strict laws to stop this notorious trade.
