Satellite Internet service
The satellite service Starlink is said to be planning to launch internet services in Pakistan. As millions of Pakistanis lack a stable internet connection, primarily in rural areas, this initiative offers potential for improving internet access across the country. However, for such a rapid rollout to be successful, there are challenges pertaining to regulatory approval and satellite interferences that need to be addressed first. All such issues must be addressed quickly so that the service may roll out effectively. The government has to fast-track the provision of approval, and create an enabling environment for such advancements.
