Even with dense fog in the environment, drivers often neglect safety precautions, such as reducing speed or maintaining safe distances between vehicles. Additionally, the absence of effective traffic management systems and emergency response units exacerbates the consequences of such accidents. To overcome this menace, public awareness campaigns must emphasise the dangers of driving in dense fog and promote responsible behaviour to mitigate the rapidly growing risk of accidents. The authorities should prioritise equipping roads with advanced fog detection and warning systems. Police must strictly enforce traffic laws, especially during foggy conditions, to prevent reckless driving and avoidable tragedies.
