THE remarks by erratic US President Trump against Pakistan show that the US only recognises the aid given to Pakistan but is reluctant to accept the sacrifices by the country in America’s “war on terror”.

Pakistan has twice fought as America’s ally and faced grave threats to its own security. All these efforts have gone unacknowledged and the US government harps on the “do more” mantra.

It is the US which has failed to stabilise Afghanistan even after getting all the support from Nato forces and Pakistan.

The real do more is to be on America’s part.
